92 RS 5.0 Engine to Cold?
Since these cars are meant to operated hot does having the engine to cold mess up the ecu? If I don't turn on the fans the temp gets really hot almost hitting 260 mark. I turn on the fan before that happens. If I run the aux fan before I turn on the car it stays below the 1/4 mark. Or the colder the better?

The fan should turn on by itself at about 228* F, or when the A/C is running.
Is the fan relay still connected to the head temperature switch? It is located between cylinders 6 & 8 in the head.
It is best to run the stock 195* F thermostat. A colder one does cause issues. You could put a head temperature switch in that closes at a lower temperature.

Re: 92 RS 5.0 Engine to Cold?
I just bought the car and the PO had a switch that turns on the fan manually. Also fans turn on with headlights. Hopefully this weekend I will have time to solder and replace all the wire the PO sliced into. I think he used a butter knife to cut the wire...Plus duct tape.. I just got the car to turn on properly. I'll see if I can try to put every thing back to stock.
I took the above pic at a redlight after about 15 min drive. It shoots up to about the 60 mark when driving. I'm not to sure thats a good thing or bad. Next oil change going to go from 20w50 to a lighter oil. Hopefully it doesn't mess with the oil pressure.
