can I replace my 1983 z28 manifold w/tbi with a 84 corvette manifold w/tbi? arev they the same? please explain.

 

I believe the 83 and 84 are the same crossfire intakes. The 82 is slightly different. I have heard the injectors are different for the Corvette, however I have not validated that myself.

 

The later intake has some sort of balance holes in the runners. Corvette does have larger injectors. The intakes are the same between the 305 and the 350 engines.

 

Yep,pretty much as stated above-no manifold(or throttle body) differences from305 to 350 CFIs but later manifolds,around late-82 through '84 have the balance holes. proper Modification/porting of a crossfire manifold wakes a CFI right up

 

can I swap my 83 z28 manifold with the 84 corvette manifold? what about the throttle bodies and fuel injectors - can I use the tbi units of the 84 corvette on the 83 z28?

 

you can swap the manifold-they are exactly the same,the TBIs are the same too as is the ECM.The corvette injectors are different flow rate-sized for 350.
