Cross-Fire tuning help with the Renegade

I know there is a link somewhere here that talks about using a ECM from a '88-'92 5.0L GM pick-up truck to make the cross fire be able to be tuned. If someone could attach it here I'd really appreciate it.

Wasn't there one where they used a 1227747 ECM too?

Iirc there use to be a thread on DIY efi . A block is needed for one of the iacs fpr and a ham board or use dynamic efi Ebl.

Does anyone still make the Ham Board? Without it you need to make some sort of adapter, or modify your existing harness.

The 1983 Crossfire 5.0 V8 in the F bodies uses that style of ECM. Aside from a bit better driveability, there is not much benefit to swapping to it other then as the link mentioned, a bit better diagnostic capability. I have it in my 82 TA.
