chip burning help.
Hi I have a 1990 rs camaro that I just put a 400 SBC in. It originally came with a 305 but I but a 350 with a hot cam and a few other things. But it was too slow so I built the 400. I used the same cam out of the 350 and I had a chip burned by someone for that 350 but the 400 runs like crap. And I know why. Running too lean and my timeing is way off. I am running 6" rods in the 400 which is .5 inches longer then the stock 400 rod. So the piston is dwelling at the top of the cylinder longer. Basically I know nothing about burning my own tunes. I have my OBD1 (USB) cable on order and I have winaldl and tunerpro installed on my computer to see which one I like better to run data logs. But now I need the chip burning unit. Any recommendations on what to get? And any other advice or pointer on this stuff would be great. Again I know nothing but I want to learn so I can get all the horsepower out of my 400 that I know its capable of. Thank you.

Re: chip burning help.
This belongs in the DIY prom section. You may want to convert the 2732 to a sst27sf512 and buy a burn 2 from moates.net, or get a dynamic efi Ebl.
