Have a 350 TBI that wont idle and only runs if you keep patting the accelerator. Even doing that it will not get above 2500 RPMS. Ideas?

I would start with the procedure I listed here = https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/...ity-light.html
If the cap is still over the throttle stop screw then leave that part alone. Just adjust the timing to see if you can get it to run . If you can then set it to the stock setting while at a decent operating temperature of 200* or more.

Then reset the IACV buy following the "jump the A to B instructions".
If the cover is no longer over the idle stop screw then follow the instructions in the thread to set the minimum idle speed I provided in total.

I have a 5.0 so I'm not sure about your stock timing setting or your minimum idle speed so you will need to verify that before you get started.
The first photo shows the terminals to jump and the second is where the stop screw is located. As I said ,if there is a thin steel cover over it just leave it alone. For now.

Even the paperclips that appear to have no plastic coating have a very thin clear one that must be removed to use as a jumper. Its very hard to see.

I prefer replacing the IACV before setting it. Some clean it but starting new appeals to me. After cleaning the passage the tip of the pintle seats in just install it and then follow the steps I listed.
