CFI

So, I went to talk to a guy about helping me build my '83 Camaro CFI and he said that the bad thing about the CFI, is that it starves a few cylinders. Is this true and if it is, is there anyway around it? He knows that I want power and was trying to get me to change the system but, I told him that I'd email him all the links/parts that I have found about it and how to make it better. Any help would be appreciated for I haven't read anything about it starving a few cylinders.
