Dyno wise it makes a big difference i would definitly use them!!!!! reason being less mass to spin, less wobble, thus reducing drag, which frees up a bit of HP not to noticable but number wise its much noticable

I have a 3-piece set on my RS. It really makes little difference. Before you decide to buy it, answer the question. What type of driving do you typically do? If the car is your daily driver and sees a lot of stop and go traffic (as in our infamous LA rush-hour freeway commutes) forget about it. Too many have problems with their cars overheating and the alternators failing to keep their batteries fully charged. I wonder why? j/k If your car already suffers from the common overheating problems forget about it. Solving one problem, to create two others isn't worth it. There is only a minor gain in hp. Lon

I put just the 2 piece set on my car. felt a little difference. But it dropped 2 to 3 tenths off my 1/4 mile time.

damn...2-3 tenths? thats pretty good...
yeah i have the 2 piece set too. its just the crank and alternator. i didnt want to slow down the water pump because i was scared of cooling problems. i got mine from ebay for like 40 bucks, so i couldnt refuse.

Yeah, I was very pleased with them. I didnt think it would make that big of a difference. They are pretty cheap even if you buy them new and it takes no time to put them on. So it was totally worth it.
