So this is my first time posting here I've searched around trying to find info on this and none of the post had what I was looking for. I'm using the Tbi and Ecu off a 94 1500 with a 350 to do a DIY fuel injection on a small block dodge I'm building. It is my understanding that these systems use a narrow band o2 sensor and don't fine tune the afr they just alternate between lean and rich. Is there a way to convert them to wide band and set them up to make actual adjustments to it for better power and mpg?

The OEM system DOES fine-tune the AFR, by bouncing between rich and lean--as all computer-controlled systems do when fine-tuned by an O2 sensor. The fuel trims are short-term and long-term.

The issue is that there's a limited range of adjustability, not that there isn't any range.




One of the guys on this forum sells a tuning kit (EBL) for the TBI computers. Search this forum for EBL and be prepared for a lot of hits.
