Hey I'm in the middle of rebuilding my TBI. I have the kit from Autozone.
Other then the rebuild is there anything I should do before I put everything back together?

How about making the fuel pressure regulator adjustable! On my website there is an awesome tech article made by Vader. It's a pdf (adobe acrobat reader format) and has lots of pictures and very detailed. It's a really good idea to adjust this if you already have the TB unit off the car. Also be sure you reassemble the spring the correct way and be extra careful with the rubber gasket for the fuel pressure. Other than that it's really easy. Just like a prefab lego toy, screw together and install, check for leaks, no leaks, keep driving :-)

 

Don't forget to shave off those ridges around the throttle bores
