Cam

Is there a Tech Article on how to install a cam into a 1992'305 tbi, Most of the guys suggest changing the camshaft in a l03 would help in increasing the performance or atleast spread of torque and HP in entire rpm range so just wondering if there is any tech article which can guide a novice on how to change the cam and also about the clearance specs and all that!!! and also Do I need to change the chip if I install a cam{this is dumb question but if I install a cam from LT1, does it fit into a 305 LO3} Do I need to change the valves and springs?? Thanks.

nobody has written a tech article on the cam swap yet. it will be done very soon(blackbird305's car). i woudl suggedst changing the valve springs just as a safety measure. you can get a set for about $40 through summit and that is cheap insurance over how beat you stockers prolly are by now.
the tech article on the cam swap will be up by the end of february.
