What is the difference between Crank 350 and 350
Re: What is the difference between Crank 350 and 350
they are balanced differently, mainly because 305 bore is smaller, therefore lighter pistons. you might be able to use it but balancing the crank shaft will be a must.

If you go to put a 305 crank in a 350 use a set of pistons for a 350 LT1 and have it balanced. The LT1 pistons are mych similar in weight to the 305 pistons and will save you from having to put alot of expensive mallory metal into the crank. Better yet pick you up a stronger lightweight Scat crank for about $200 new.
