Ever think about making your fuel pressure regulator adjustable? Try that and it should help you make a few more hp is not a lot more. One problem with making the Lo3 with bolt ons is the fact that it's speed density and will run way lean at WOT if not corrected with either fuel pressure or eprom adjustments.
The gears definatly suck so 3.73 posi always is a good thing.
N2o might help you, not sure about 'nos', that sounds like something from a movie like the fast and the furious.
If you do go the N2o route make certain you do it right and take out base timing. Set it to like 0 and run 94 octane or you'll just be chancing blowing up the motor. An intake and cam swap is always good for a bunch of hp, especially if you already have a free flow exhaust system. If you can afford it heads would be the last step because of the initial cost and time but that's where your power potential is.

I just about the same mods as you and next im planning on doing the rear end and some suspension mods.
rear end:
Richmond 3.73 gears w/ SLP take off posi, and the posi is only 99 bucks.

suspension:
Spohn's adjustable LCAs
Spohn's SFCs

After i finish with these, hopefully before summer which is gonna be hard since i am in school, im going to try to make enough money in the summer to get my tranny rebuilt with about a 2200-2400 stall TC and shift kit. Then go with an LT1 cam and Edelbrock TBI intake (these would be good mods to do since they can easily swap to a 350 if you decide to go bigger).

Hope this helps

A better tbi intake manifold will help out a lot and only cost about $200.

My TBI intake looks just like that pic (i.e. it's in mint condition) and I'll sell it to ya, if you want it. :P
