Hey guys, I know this is not a truck forum, but thought someone might be able to help.
I am trying to help my dad with his 1983 c3500. He installed 454 tbi from a 1993 suburban. I managed to wire up engine and ecu correctly, and engine runs good. It originally had a th400 behind it, now dad put a 1995 4l80e behind it. I know the 1993 ecu(7060 with BANF memcal) won't control the newer 4l80e. My question is: can I use a 94/95 red/blue ecu and reuse the BANF memcal chip. Or, do I need a specific 94/95 ecu and memcal for my 454/4l80e combo? Custom chip? Been tearing my hair out for weeks now trying to figure this out.....
