I have a 78 CJ5 with an AMC 360 in it. I did the Junkyard TBI conversion a couple of years ago. As far as running it does great....all kinds of power. Starts and runs fine even when the temp is in the teens. My only issue is on occasion it will die coming to a stop. Always starts right back up, either with the key or clutch. I did read sometimes this is an issue, especially without a VSS, which mine does not have. I see this " https://jagsthatrun.com/collections/...ce-holder-4pac " it is a 2 pulse. Is that what I need for the 7747 ECM? Also read something about a "THROTTLE FOLLOWER" somewhere but cannot locate the page. This guy was having the same issue and toyed with that and got it to clear up. Any ideas?

Yes, the 2PRS is the correct VSS for the '7747 ECM. Ground one wire, other wire goes to ECM pin A10.
Without a VSS the throttle follower (TF) logic won't work correctly. So the stalling will likely clear up when adding it. Check the DIY-PROM board here for more info on the TF.
