Unfortunately I don't have the time or knowledge to tune my car. Do you guys recommend anyone reputable who can burn me chip?

Just something to improve the stock tune. Pull some fuel at wot, better timing tables, etc etc. Of course not looking for max power, just something more aggressive than the factory.

I am planning on at least buying an ADLD cable to datolog. I have some limited TunerPro experience when I was making some minor adjustments to a tune I had gotten on my Mustang (95 GT -- OBD1 EEC-IV) and burning the chip with Moates products.

I've done some research for a while. some say stock tune is fine, some say leaves a bit on the table. Confused at this point.

Within the next few months I plan on installing some older Hedman shorties and y pipe a friend IROC outgrew. Will be matched to a 46669 exhaust pipe and an SLP dual/dual muffler. Only other mod is an Edelbrock air cleaner. Car is also getting a new Yukon posi and clean used stock 3.42 donation gears next month. Excited to throw the 2.73s in the garbage.

Car will stay like this for a while. I did have some older World heads donated to the cause lol. My plan is to eventually run them with an LT1 cam, stock intake and TBI with bigger injectors. I know will definitely need more serious tuning by then.

Not looking to set the streets on fire with my 305 but I'm scared of almost anything that tries to race me sighh.

Thanks everyone

Check with "Tuned Performance" here on the board. I got a chip burned with a bit more timing curve, changed my TC lockup to 60mph, tuned out the speed limiter, and deleted vats. Car definitely runs better too it was worth it.

Re: Tune for my 89 TBI slug
I can tell you a new posi and some gear will wake it up.Im running 373s but your choice of 342s is even better. A good shift kit and mild T/C helps also that's about all the mods I have. Im also running a bit more fuel pressure @14lbs. Car is a lot more fun to drive than the way it came and I think with your mods you will really see a difference. BTW what an awesome car you got there ive been following since you first posted on here.

I've almost got my 350 together and should be swapping in the next month or 2 hopefully. If you don't have a chip by then I would let you get mine I don't think I had but maybe $60 in it.
