which LT1 cam

If I could pick, which LT1 cam is the best. I think I remember reading on here that there were 2 or 3 different grinds but I couldn't find them when I tried searching. This would be going in my 90 305tbi. thanks guys.

They're all very similar. I couldn't tell you for sure if there is a different grind or not but I do know that some early years the Lt1 was rated at 275hp and later it was bumped to 285. Again, I don't know since this isn't a forthgen.org! Ask on the camaroz28.net board.

I know it isn't a fourthgen.org, this question applies to my 3rd gen. I also know the horsepower bump you are referring to was in 96. I have read on this sight that there was a difference I just can't find it in the searches. Anyone else know? I will give it a try on the other board also.

All 7 cams have been listed in the past. Try to search for the post.

i think the 93-95 LT1 cams had .450/.450 lift ( intake/exhaust), and the 96-97 cams were .450/.460, alittle more lift on the exhaust side. If you can, get one that was from a 96 or 97 camaro.
