90 camaro tbi won’t start

Hey everyone. So I’ve traded around and bought a 1990 camaro. Iroc-z. 305 tbi. I’ve been trying for a week or so to get it started. I put a new gas tank with pump and sending unit in the car. New cap and rotor button and rebuilt the top of the tbi system. The car runs if I pour gas in it and it’s getting fuel to the throttle body. But no injector fire. I also found that the fuse link to the battery has been cut out. Could this be the problem and if so where does the wire run to after it comes into the car.

What is the fuel pressure?

Does the pump prime when the key is turned from "Off" to "Run"?

Photo of the "fuse link"?

Do all the fuses have power across them?

Connect a scan tool, look at the data stream. Do you have an RPM signal?

Thank you for the reply. Not sure what it ended up being but the car started and hasn’t give any problems since. Thanks again though.

Car truths #101, , , , ; NOTHING "self heals" itself, and the problem WILL return, at some random future time (and usually at the worst possible moment) .

From your earlier description of it getting fuel to the TB, and it running with fuel poured into it, you'll likely end up with an ECM, ICM, or VATS fault....

After making the post I’ve done a lot of work on the car including running the vin number. It’s actually a RS car with iroc emblems and ground effects. Finding out that the guy I got the car from lied quit a bit.

you sure could. It's been asked about occasionally on tgo and there are several examples floating around. TPI was certainly more common. The 4.3 mile iroc from a few years ago was a H code LG4 even.
