Very low idle at cold start
Hey guys! I can't find a solution to my problem here on the forum, so Ive decided to create a new thread. My 305 tbi with a new IAC and new TPS(all set up correctly) idles very low at startup. When it warms up a little it's okay, it holds rpm at about 700 but at startup where it should jump to let's say a 1000 it doesn't do that, starts at 500 and if I don't pedal it a bit it'll stall. No error codes. I know the best way to diagnose it would be to plug it into a PC, but unfortunately here in Poland it's pretty difficult to get a working aldl cable for the Camaro as they're pretty rare. Thanks in advance.
Re: Very low idle at cold start
I'd want to know if the IAC was working properly, and if the computer was getting a proper signal from the coolant temp sensor.
It'd be enormously easier to discover both of those things with a scan tool; but y' gotta do what y' can with what y' have.

Thanks for the reply.
Exactly...
I tested the CTS with an ohmmeter and it seems to be okay. I tested the IAC in a stupid way of taking it out and turning the key with aldl pins shorted, of course it shot out and I've spent an hour finding the inside of it
when I put it back together I cranked the motor and it went back inside the casing, so I guess it's working (if properly, I don't know). I'm a bit scared it might be the ECM as the car was standing in tall grass with busted windows for a few years before I bought it.
