yeah and those little jerks bumped up the price of the heavy duty one to 500 bucks. that is insane. looks like i may have to go somewhere else for my posi unit this spring...

Lol... Not much now... 305 all stock. Got it up and running but thats about all so far. Im a broke *** engineering student at rutgers so i havnt had much time (or money) to work on it. If all goes well, i should be dropping a 350 in it over spring break. Hopefully my blazer will hold out long enough so i can get the motor in.

If you see a white s-10 tahoe w/ an exaust leak hauling *** around the neborhood, thats me!

Thanks for the post, i just ordered one, 99 aint bad for a posi, 85 is a steal. Plus, they might be trying to get rid of all their units. No more camaros and firebirds equals no more take off posi's. Unless they remove them from other cars also? Figured id get mine before they possibly run out.

the 84 dollar posi does come off of a new Z28 or T/A, so they are made to handle at least 310HP and about 350+ ft lb of torque. Unless you are pushing those numbers, i cant think of a better deal.

its all about cheap mods, AC delete (free), didnt work anyways, LT1 cam $35, SLP posi $84. Unless your making mad HP and torque, why not do it cheap. Go on ebay and find new parts that people never installed, got some new Spohn SFCs for about 30-40 off original price, why pay more when you can pay less.

That's right man!!!!

You can talk gear ratios, compression ratios, and HP to weight ratios all you want, but my favorite is the old HP/$ ratio!!!!

I think that's the only thing my wife and I agree on about MY car!!!!
