Whats your timing

this is for all you L03 guys - whats your timing, and what fuel you use?? I was playing with timing today - and damn, I hate ciomputers! Anyways, I have it at 0* b/c it seemed to idle best there....just looking fer input! Thanks!

Go to the track and run a couple times with the 0 base timing. Then try running a couple times with 2 more degrees base timing. Then try running a couple times with 4 degrees, and so on until you notice less performance (slower mph). Then look at the mph and notice the lowest base timing you could run and still get the same mph, that's the timing you should run. More is not always better, especially if you ever get a lower octane by accident or those freek reasons.

The nearest track to me is quite a drive...I live in Troy, MI, and the nearest track I know of is in Milan

I wish I could do that.....we have a huge track in memphis, but we get so many people on test n tune, and the officials show favortism towards the Drag cars rather than the street cars, I get to go 2-3 times if i'm lucky.
