just pull off the pump(youll hafta remove the pulley first) and plug the inlets on your exaust manifold/crimp the inlet on the catalitic converter. Pretty self explantiory IMHO. I took all teh crap off w/o much trouble. Just look at the tech article on teh belt routing and you should be in buisness.

you dont need to plug the exhaust manifolds, there is a one-way valve in there

What size belt if you have AC? Cause I removed mine, and tried every size belt available, and could not find a fit. I ended up having to put the pump back on, but i gutted it out so that it had no resistance.

Belt size for AC with removal is a 98.6 inch 6 rib belt I believe. Just refer to the tech article.

Yea, ran it right. I know this because I put it on, and turned the car on and the belt ran like planned, it was just a little too loose...the accessories were spinning faster than the belt. The tensioner was as tight as possible...so i dunno? I have since switched to underdrive crank and alt. pulleys...what size would i need now if I wanted to take the smog pump off?

We get that man....my problem wasn't w/ ur post....it was w/ the parts store...they didn't MAKE the size belt i needed. I tried 2 or 3 different store. And none of them had the size i needed....so i tried the closest 2....they were just a bit too tight, and just a bit too small.
