Is it the same as Holley's spacer?

it is a holley spacer. I tried to get a 2 barrel one too, but it looks like they don't make one for my jeeps tiny 2 barrel.

Wish I had known about that before I forked out ~$40 at the local speed shop .

sorry dude. I made a post about it a week ago when I ordered it. You could probably order one then sell the $40 one on ebay. Can you take it back? If you're in a rush, they had none in stock and it took over a week to come in, not counting if they had to ship it. I picked mine up at the PAW warehouse. www.pawinc.com

It was almost a year ago...so it's probably a little late to take it back . I probably shouldn't be bitchin' about it 'cause PAW probably didn't have 'em that cheap then anyway...

Just outta curiosity, Tas, why did you choose that particular intake? Will it cause a problem with higher fuel pressures?

well pablo had some good luck with his torker 2. I compred the 7547 and the torker 2 and I liked the 7547 even though it was a bit more extreme. I figured when I go bigger than a 305 it will be perfect. $95 is hard to beat too. I would have liked to bore out an edelbrock TBI intake but I didn't want to bore out a new one and I didn't find a used one at the time. I was looking for used TPIs too but again, I didn't find any at a reasonable price. People just love selling them on ebay for $500 now a days. Oh well. Putting the 7547 on is on my list of things to do but it comes after my Jeep projects and the headers. Headers should go on in 2 weeks when my friend can help me do them on his spring break.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the TPI's. I just sold mine on ebay for $550! I couldn't ever get it to work out for me. I had problems with getting the MAF wiring harness to work with my existing stuff (I think it was a harness off an 85 or 86 TPI too, which really sucks.). Anyways, I thought about going single plane, and I like that intake that you've chosen. How do you think that spacer will affect the RPM range and hood clearance? Is that something you've checked or do you have a cowl hood?
