82 cfi with 88 roller cam block
I'm going to be putting a different 305 block in my newly aquired 82 z28 with t-tops, and I found a really good, and inexpesive 88 roller cam block, and I want to keep my cfi. what do you guys think, of this swap, will it screw with my ecm, and throw it way off? and also I am thinking of getting an lt1 roller cam and putting it in there. would that screw it up? or should I just put the valve train from my old block in the new one?
if this swap works, any ideas how much power I will be producing? with lt1 cam?

If my combo hasn't "screwed" with my ECM, then a stock roller cam sure won't! Don't worry, it'll be fine.
