you can use a little carb cleaner and spray it down there and it will clean it out. i have a pic of my holley unit and its similar to the stock on but you just spray the carb cleaner down the port.
ajusting the tv cable sould be the same if not VERY similar to the v8 i would think

well if it is fully warmed up it sould be closed and it really will not get anywere, i guess you can wait till cold start up when it uses the iac and it is open.

it might, but more then likley not if it is not leaking when fully warmed up. you might want to check the basic stuff first like igition ( cap, plugs, wires) and fuel filter, timing, tps.

If you want to get the IAC to come all the way out use a paper clip and put the car into ALDL mode. All you need to do is put the key in the on position and the IAC will close (stick out all the way). Spray a libral amount on the pintal (pointing looking thing) and then remove the paper clip and start the car. While the engine is running, spray some more cleaner on the pintal and you're done. That's about all you can do to clean it without removing the TB. Then again, removing the TB is piece of cake so long as you don't damage the fuel line o-rings. Heck, probably a good idea to replace them anways and no, the o-rings aren't rare, they're very popular so it's probably a good idea to replace them anyways.
