difference between TBI spacer and injector spacer?

I made a 1/4 inch spacer to go between the TB and the manifold. I used the gasket as a template. Is this a throttle body spacer or an injector spacer? It seems like it would be called a throttle body spacer. I went on Turbo City's website and they say that their throttle body spacers are 1 inch think and they also sell injector spacers. I guess the injector spacer would be right under the roof of the pod and lift the injector in it's 'bowl' a little bit, right? Should I make my throttle body spacer 1 inch and make a 1/4 inch injector spacer or what? I want to go ahead and do all I can while it's apart. Any help is appreciated!!

injector spacer: between injector pod and TBI (usually about 1/4 inch)

TBI spacer: between intake and TBI (usually between 1/2 - 1 inch)

Ok, I think I see now.

What I made was an injector spacer, it fits between the pod and the TB base. It's 1/4 inch thick.

Now I need to make a spacer to go between the TBI base and the manifold, and it needs to be 1/2 to 1 inch think.

Will the fuel lines reach the injector pod with the TB spacer?

Will I have hood clearence (stock RS hood)

Thanks!!

I had to remove the ring that ran around the back of the "base" in order to get the fuel fittings/fuel lines to work correctly. If you look at the unit, imagine if the fittings were another 1/2" up and you'll see that it's going to hit that "ring".

Which one did you make? You said that you made one, then you said you made the other?

Make the TB spacer 1/2 inch only. 1 inch and u have to modify ur cable bracket to get the throttle cables to reach.

I only made the injector spacer (1/4 think). I'm going to do the big spacer later, along with the AFPR. I"m just trying to get the car back on the road for now. I've got to change an alternator tomorrow, mine broke
