another spark count/timing question
another spark count/timing question
ok.. I advanced timing to 7 degrees base this time.. up from 5..
on my test run winaldl was showing 17 count for a certain rpm .. I don't remember which one..
everything else wasen't bad a 1 & 3 here and there..
after stopping and turning the truck off for 5 mins and then going for another run.. I don't get any spark counts anymore..
only on startup and shutoff of engine..
any ideas?? did the ecu do a learn mode and then after the restart used the new values?

ok.. now I still haven't changed anything.. went for another run.. if I let it slow down to almost a dead stop and plant it to the floor I will get about a 30 at 3600 in the spark count table.. this is really confusing me..
ok now I installed my other fp regulator which is adjustable and upped the press from 12 to 13 psi..
I did a quick run and upon almost dead stop and putting it to the floor I got a 36 count and 4400 rpm..
ANYONE? I"m my asking in the wrong forum?
