fans always on

I took my ta out today for the first time this season. Thank *** my winter ride was getting a little boring. Nothing compares to a v8.
My problem is my fans are running all the time even when the car first starts from cold. Does anyone know what the problem is. It was hot out about 80+ temp. The car ran great but the fans shouldn't come on till about 190-220 i think.

Have they always been like that since you got the car? Cause I don't see how all of a sudden they would just run all the time.

It may be that the relay is stuck in the closed position. That's what happened to mine.

Mine was in the front of the car near one side of the fan. Just find the power wire at the fan and follow it back. I have heard of the relays being in different places. I don't know why. Mine was near the fans though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there is this little censor that screws in your intake manifold that might be the cause. My Dads 3rd gen camaro had a problem like that. I had a spare manifold that had the same peice, his was broke so we swaped them. The bad part is he broke it when installing it. :nono:

Intake sensors have nothing to do with the fans. The fan relay is probably on the passenger side beside your radiator. Behind yor battery if it is there. You may want to check that the wire to the sensor in your passenger side head isn't grounded on your header also.

more than likley if it wasn't doing prior then it would be the relay.
