rebuilding 305
Im buying a rebuild kit from summit for my 305. Now what i wanna know is after i cut the wear rings on the top of the clyender wall what do i have to do next. Basically what im asking is what should I do after that

Take the block to a salvage yard. Let them have it.

a used 350 is cheaper than rebuilding a 305 and it's a better engine -4" or bigger bore forever!!!!

You need to decide what you want from the car as to determine what kind motor you want....you want a car thats easy on gas and dependable,use the 305...If you want a bad*ss,go with a 350,383,400....
yeah i know i want it to be a daily driver and do a work to it like a cam and stuff but nothing too crazy cause its gotta be emission friendly. I dunno i guess ill ask my teacher about the cylender walls
