High Torgue Starters????

Is a high torque starter really needed for a 305? What kind of problems are you having with the stock one? Ive started some high compression engines with just a stock high torque starter.Or,if you just want one,go for it!

I have heard alot of people do that(remote starter) but I never thought it was that bad.I had a 454 Suburban I used to tow with,it ate up starters.I bought a heat shield from JEGS,problem solved! So either way would be ok.
