fouled plug on #6

just did intake gasket on my tpi motor because rear was leaking from cheesy rubber. now #6 plug keeps fouling. this was due to a burnt wire. replaced wire and ran to try and clean but car still skips. im going to assume that for some reason the intake didn seal properly as plug is white hott and oily. no real noticeable oil consumption is present. car ran fine beforehand so it must be the problem or i didnt torque accordingly for whatever the reason car runs crappy now am i on the right track or what? any ideas would be appreciated. going to tear down runners this weekend and check bolts for tightness and possibly replace gaskets again. also going to run compression test beforehand (even though i did past summer when installing new cam and 120 was consistent across all 8)

Before you get carried away with disassembly again, install a new plug in that cylinder. Many time a fuel-soaked plug will be grounded through the insulator and never fire. Once this happens, there will never be enough heat generated to "dry" the insulator.
