anyone near Vegas?

:lala: I'm going to be going there in august and I want to stay on/near the strip but I don't want to blow all my money on a hotel room. Basically I want a cheap room so that I can spend my money elsewhere but I still want a nice place. is that possible? are there certain websites that offer the best discounts out in Vegas.

I saw the westward ho is on the strip and relly cheap. is that place a dump or do they just have prices half that of everyone else on the strip for no reason.

I live on the airbace out hear, and there are, with a fev exciptions 2 types of hotels out hear- cacino/hotels and slum hotels, one of the excptions is the econo lodge on las vegas blvd. about a mile and a half from the strip, maby allitle closer, call the big hotel/cacinos some of them offer good deals on rooms to try to get people in them and gambel 'cause that's 95% of their buisness, also if your driving the dragstrip is having races on friday nites where it $10 to race and there's no tech inspection and you can race as maney times as you want (bering in mind that last time there was 300+ cars there) this was done to get the illeagal street races off the streets, so you have to deal with allot of inports .

yeah, but watch who you get with, 'cause your likely to get somthing from the girls out hear and that somthing ain't good. if your looking for somewhere to hang out try Dylns(sp) it's a contry-westren bar/dance hall and sometimes the girls accually look good, even when your sober , it's on boulder hwy. just down from nellis blvd if you go expect alot of armed forces personell there and there are fights(USMC dosen't get along with anyone)

So your taking sand to the beach!
Anyways try the days Inn, Oh and by the way it's not that we don't like anyone it's just that some people are real jealous of use!
