Need help to specify an AFR head
Need help to specify an AFR head
I need help to specify an AFR 190 head for a 350 TPI for an 87
Iroc. There is some extra machine work needed on the heads for a TPI unit , if you had ordered before please help.
I may used this heads on a stock 350 L98 block or a 383 strocker 1971 block, 4 bolt main.
Thanks for your help,

You have listed two totally dofferent engines, and most likely two different build options.
I'd say call/email AFR, tell them your itended goal and engine specs, and take their advice...
I/e a 64cc head may be 10:1 on your pistons for a 350, but to achieve the same CR on a 383, you may have to spend more $$ for the same CR than you needed to, if you had the heads milled for the 383 pistons.
