Nice thing about a small block chevy, they all use the same timing set.

It'll work fine. Just make sure you get the correct one for your year (factory roller or not).

I noticed you already have a Pete Jackson geardrive. You have to make sure you get the quiet one or it sends the knock sensor into fits; you probably already know this, just reminding you.

The geardrive in the corvette is a peter jackson and it is pretty loud i dont no why but i have had no problems with it at all.
and it's been in the car for 5 years.Again i dont no why i hav'nt (did i spell that ok) had any problems with it.
So a roller cam geardrive is different to a normal one.Do you no in what way.
Cheers

The cam gear on the factory roller setups is different. If you are using the factory roller cam and related hardware, you must use the right cam gear. I cant remember for some reason what the difference is.. heh. I am pretty sure theres a lip that sticks out of the back of it, and the thickness where the bolts are is less.

It does have a little lip, but when I changed mine I thought there was an extra hole.
