RIP them out and throw them in the river and go to a hardware store and get some plugs to plug the holes in the air injection...also get that pipe from the cat off or youll blow all kinds of nasty stuff under the hood its real simple just take a look at the car and start pulling you shouldnt run into any problems

your gonna need money for a new belt...no real perforamnce gain but definetly frees up some weight and gives you more room

When i did mine the air pipes had holes in the and were all screwed up anyway so i just cut them off as near the manifold as i could and used a rachet to take the bottom parts off, make shure you plug the holes and plug them tight.............

There's a article on the main site.

You will see maybe 2hp max because there's one less thing for the engine to drive. It also weighs about 5 pounds.

You should try to save as much of the system as possible...just in case a few years down the line your state starts testing cars visually.

i also got rid of my AC because it didnt hardly work so i had a much shorter belt and even less weight...if they start visually inspection under the hood id be screwed...i screwed every part of mine up so its trashed....i guess if i had to i could run dummy hoses and stuff
