Here's the plan.
I'm interested in building a nice 377 weekend driver.
I want to build it FI, so I know I'll need some system/intake setup that breathes well up high.
Target power range is a nice mild ~400ish with torque near the same.
I know alot of you all will be saying 377? what? why? Make a 383 or a 400! And you may be right, just convince me of such. I've always been interested in building a 377 because I've heard they rev very nicely. I think with a nice setup you could make a good deal of power, and have a (relatively) high revving and reliable smallblock.
But I digress.
Post your favourite combos. I'm staying smallblock, pushing the power through a t56 probably to a 3.73 or 4.10 rear (haven't decided).
Looking forward to see everyone's suggestions.

for a nice mild 400/400 motor you definatly don;t need anything exotic liek a high winding 377. Just build a mild 400...or even just a 350. it'll give you better numbers across the board.
