Non Thirdgen Need opinion

Hey everybody, I want your opinions. I have the opportunity to buy a 1971 Plymouth Duster 340 for 4,500 dollars. I looked at it today and the paint looks very good it has the special 340 paint job that is purple and the hood is black with 340 written on it. It doesn't have any rust. I am planning on seeing it and test driving it tomorrow. I will still keep my beloved Camaro it will always be my favorite. But I really like this Duster. Do you guys think I should go ahead and buy it if it runs good? Thanks for your opinions.

Inspect the inner fenders closely for corrosion. Check the crossmember where the torsion bar sockets are mounted. These are critical corrosion areas on the older Mope unibodies. Been there- fixed that. If those area look sound, go for it.

Don't expect to get a whole lot of power from the 340, just enough to have some fun with. If the car is in good condition, it's probably worth close to what they're asking.
