Ed, I can definitely appreciate you wanting the carb to be kept original and undamaged. Similarly, I don't care how many tpi cars there are out there, I object to this:

I won't be turning the car into a driver. Ed, although I and everyone whom I showed your posts to thought that you were being fairly hostile, you made good points and persuaded my dad and I. I wish you'd answer my PM, though. I wish some other people I PMed would as well. Also, I'll now be searching within a broader mileage range for my brother's car.

Out of the 4 cars I've owned, the camaro has actually been by far the most reliable. Out of the year and 3 months I've owned it, there have been 2 days it wouldn't get me where I needed to go. On was the alternator/battery died, the other was a mistake I made while messing with something that never would have happend if I'd left it alone. I bought it with 118K on it, its at about 132 now, and its been nothing but good to me.

i drive my '87 305 lb9 daily and get about 19-21 mpg with some mods done...but thats when i'm not gettin on it, when i get on it, about 15-17 mpg. def. daily driver material.
