Check engine light for TPS or VSS sensor.

Whey I really romp on it and drive the car in higher RPMs for about 5 to 30 minutes the check engine light will come on. I checked the book and it said something about adjusting the TPS (throttle position sensor). The other engine code Said something about the (VSS). Now one of these codes causes my computer to adjust something that causes my car to run slower. At this time If I hit the gas I can hear the engine working hard and I'll see the RPMs go up but the car has lost about 40% of its torque. Any Ideas?

>Oh yeah if I turn the engine off and clear the codes I get now problem at all.

It would help if we knew what code you were getting and what induction and/or ecm you are using.
