hey i have th eascd ram air hood and i just put the new motor in hwo could make a functional ram air system to go to the air filter on the carb? has anyone thought bout how to do it?? has anyone done it?? i have been thinking and i am stumped how to make it look good and function properly. any thoughts would be great thanks

 

what i did was where the two holes are cut (above the battary and the canister) my friend and i came up with some simple ideas.

1) we used a drillpress and a hole saw to cut sheet metal to cover the hole. Then Bondo to make it stick and look flush.

2) Drilled out behind the vents. Theres the back wall and a air dam inside of it and drilled a few large holes in a line. We didn't want to cut it open because that would affect the integrity of the hood.

Now the air blows right onto my air cleaner, but now it gets dusty extremely fast. When I get a chance I'll take pics and post them.
