how do i wire in my new distributor

ok, i just rebuilt it tonite............now how do i go about wiring it in?

the car was a LG4 with computer control

computer control is gone, but the distributor wires are still connected

basically what i am trying to ask is, what wires do i take off the the old computer advance distrib and put onto the vacuum advance distrib thats going in

the one thats going in is a 75-85 style with the integrated coil in the cap..............

also, how do i hook up my tachometer????????

thanx for your help

and an extra thanx for pardoning my stupidity

the pink and white wires coming out of the coil and going towards the firwall(basically away from the distributor) are the wires you are going to need to reuse. the pink one is the power (hot) wire and the white one is the tach wire. hook those up the the coil's wires that go into the cap you will know what i am talking about when ya get in there. of course all of this is from a 1992 so it might be slightly different. i had originally a remote coil on the intake manifold

Yeah thats how I did mine also...the wires you need are together in a clip already...just make sure you use the "Fat" pink wire for power. You will also have to change the connector...very easy.
