oil pump??? please help

Axle/Gears: yup, it has a peg leg
oil pump??? please help

ok thanks for looking

I got my car running but now when you start it the oil pressure goes up and within a minute it drops down to zero. what wrong? could it be that i just need a new oil pump? please help

How's the oil level?
Are you sure the sender and gauge are ok? Would be weird for it to do that, but if there's one constant about things in general, anything can happen.

the oil level is good, but not sure bout the sender and gauge

gauge is a-ok sender should be to, my brother was telling me that it should be the oil pump or mabye the screen is clouged up or something

Verify the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge before you get too excited about pulling the oil pan. If the oil pressure truly is "zero", you should be getting all kinds of lifter, rod, and main bearing noise.

I had the exact same problem when I installed the NEW motor, the first time I started it the oil pressure went up to 60 then in about 30 secs. it was at zero. I replaced the sender and all was fine.

well have I have not let the car run for a long time so not sure if it would make any noises. tthe farest i have driven it is just up the drive way
