Who do you guys think makes the best timing chain for the 305??

Cloyes and TRW have generally offered good quality parts. The double-row roller chains are generally lighter, while the silent chains are generally more durable. It's your choice.

setting timing

I understand that the third gens need the timing advanced 6 degrees. Most of the chains I have found are adjustable +- 4 degrees. Is there a special chain I need, or can any chain be set to what I need. Thanks for the advice with everything. This site has provided great advice.
