what's the trick cutting braded fuel line and putting the cap on for an AN fitting?

Never done it myself, but I've heard of people putting different types of tape around it and using a hacksaw. Do a search and you will find many posts.

Wrap tightly with duct tape & cut through tape & hose with a fine tooth hacksaw.

i use a cut off disk in a die grinder or a chop saw ,always wrap with duct tape. if you use a hack saw use 2 extra fine blade, one reversed from the other and use tape.
