why does my car stuble when I turn?
why does my car stuble when I turn?
Hey!!!!
my car has an Edel. 600cfm carb.
ok, so, say im going 45, and I slow down to turn into a subdivision, so I slow to about 10 or 15 while turning, the engine stubles and hesitates really bad, and almost stalls out everytime I turn.
I am thinking the carb. floats? If so, how do i adjust these?

If I'm not mistaken edelbrock doesn't work on a float system. So count that out. As far as the pwr steering pump......maybe. Carbs naturally suck when it comes to cornering and what not. They rely on gravity and whatever vacuum the engine has created to pull the air and fuel in. I would try tuning the carb and making sure the idle screws are adjusted right. While your at it check the ps fluid.

I get the same thing...but usually only on long sweeping curves at fast speeds....Those speed Demon carbs are looking pretty good. I think thats the way i'm going with my 400ci.
