88 350 tpi Distributor discontinued by GM...What to buy instead?

Hello,
I would like to buy a new distributor (not rebuilt) for my car but my dealer says they're discontinued. Where can I buy one? I didn't really want to get an MSD or aftermarket one but is that my only choice? I heard the MSD one hits our intake manifold... is this true?
thanks

I'm not certain, but I think I saw them in the scoggen dickey catalog the other day. www.sdpc2000.com

I looked and they have a couple different ones, but here's a non polished one.

Price: $139.95
Part # 66939BK

Do a search on distributor and a whole lot of stuff comes up.

Thanks for the info. I called SD and they have two that work for my car. The one you found (aftermarket) and also one in the GM Performace Parts catalog. I bought the GM one. It comes complete (with ignition module, rotor, and cap) for $160. So what GM did was discontinue our factory distributors but make a "performance" one that will work.

Just to clear things up, the MSD Pro Billet distributor doesn't hit my TPI manifold anywhere.

I seem to remember that they discontinued the "complete" assembly so what I did was buy the parts and assembled my distributor "kit".
