I have a stock 89 Firebird and its in need of more power. I'm going to have some cash and time to fix it up over the next month when I wont be able to drive it. So what heads and cam work the best with a stock lo3. Also if I'm going to replace the heads and cam is there anything else that I should be worried about?

 

S/R 305 Torquers and LT1 cam.

They work the best with a stock L03.

 

i wouldnt even mess with the 305. i'd just save the money you were going to put into the 3oh5, and invest welll in a chip and some other mods for the tbi and 400sbc. just give the 305 a good tune up, and call it done for now.........dont ditch the tbi it can be worked well.
