Spark Plug end keeps unscrewing itself Help!

Spark Plug end keeps unscrewing itself Help!

I cant seem to keep the little ends on the spark plug from unscrewing fromt eh plug. I've tighten them down numerous times. Can i put like loctite on them? Thanks.

You mean, where the spark plug goes into the block? No, I wouldn't lock tite that. First, it could get into the combustion chamber. It might foul up your plug. And what do you do when it coes tie to change them again. Make sure you have the right plug size. And then try to tighten them to factory torque specs. Dont overtighten them like you are. If this doesn't work, swap a couple of the plugs. That doesn't work, by your self a blown big block, that should fix the problem.

No, he's talking about the other end of the plug. The part that the wire clips onto keeps unscrewing. I have that problem occasionally too. I just tighten them down by hand.

I don't see where a drop of Loctite would hurt, but then again, I may be wrong on that. Anyone know if Loctite is conductive?

I had the same problem with the Accel header plugs. Got rid of them and everything is fine now.
