Shifting problems

My 89 GTA seems to be shifting funny all of a sudden..It takes more RPMs to get it to shift gears...Anyone have any ideas?

Exactly, if you need instructions go to the tranny board, do a search and follow transfixleo's method.

arent 700's just wonderful? I love overdrive and the first gear ratio, but the reliability on the is very iffy, their biggest problems are either going to complete trash, or burning up from heat, check fluid level and pull the pan and look for tiny shiny metal chips

Thanks for all the responses guys!
Drove it to work today and it was fine.Shifted normal..
Last night I did a doughnut around the parking lot at work, and thats when it started acting up..May be I stretched the tv cable or something..Tranny fluid is full and only has about 9000 miles on it..
