in-car cam swap??

Got a new cam on the way and really don't want to pull the engine to install it. Problem: air conditioning. Is it necessary to evacuate the system or is there some trick way to move the condensor out of the way enough (up or down) to get the old cam out and the new one in?

Once you have the radiator out and the condenser loose, and the compressor loose from the engine, you can rotate the condenser coil and compressor together off to one side far enough to clear what you need to clear, without having to disconnect any of the lines.

Thanks for the explanation. One of the hoses is rubber, but the other is steel and routes along the inner fender wall. If I loosen the hold downs for that, it'll be OK to rotate, right?
