Hey all.
Kind of a newbie here, i was a member about 3 years ago, and im joining the board again. Anyway, I am getting a third gen camaro for free, problem is, the owner dont have the key, and i dont have the time/patience/or tools to replace the ignition away from home. So i got a friend that is going to pull it onto his trailer and bring it home. I need to know how to disconnect the driveshaft at the U-Joint and what tools will i need to do this. I really want to get this home so i can begin work on it.

Shallow 7/16" socket, 12" extension, a universal joint will help too. And of course a ratchet.

That is assuming its the stock set up. My old Camaro had allen head bolts holding the driveshaft on. Just bring a good socket set, I don't think you'll find anything too exotic on there.
